Dr. Daniel Schwabauer, ThD
English Department Head
Director of The Center for Narrative Studies
Dr. Schwabauer is an Assistant Professor of English and Head of the English Department at MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU) in Olathe, Kansas. An award-winning fantasy and science fiction novelist, he’s also the author of The God of Story and the creator of The One Year Adventure Novel and The Cover Story Writing Program—curriculums designed for young writers.

Aaron Bohn is an Associate Professor of Digital Communication at MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU). He is an accomplished writer, director, and filmmaker who is actively involved in hands-on student media projects and international storytelling initiatives.
Dr. Addison Lucchi, PhD

Dr. Lucchi is a a tenured professor, library director, and research librarian who is passionate about facilitating student success, fostering a learner-centered classroom environment, and facilitating transformative education. Dr. Lucchi leads MNU student and teacher teams to Czechia for outreach and service.
The Call to Story will equip the next generation to
communicate stories of hope, faith, and transformation.
